change audio language
Some of the video files for both movies and series have the ability to change the language of the audio track and they may have been uploaded in a language other than english. Its easy to change the language back to english and here’s how:
To change the audio file in the app built in player simply pause the video you are watching then click the remote ring up. Next go to settings on the top right. Here you will see you can quickly change both the audio and subtitles to ENG. If you don’t want sub-titles at all just disable them. Once you have changed these to the settings you want hit the back button on the remote and push the play/pause button or the center button to start the video back playing in english.
If you are using the VLC player, push the remote ring down after hitting pause and go to the box on the lower left. You will see both the audio and title settings here that you can edit. Easier yet, if you are using VLC (preferred player) you can edit the settings to always use ENG or english as the default. You can do this by following this guide
To set the default audio track language in VLC Player, follow these steps:
- Open VLC.
- Go to Tools > Preferences.
- Choose Simple settings.
- Select the Audio tab.
- Enter your preferred audio language (e.g., “EN” for English).
- Set subtitle preferences if needed.
- Click on Save
and that’s it! If you have found this article helpful, don’t forget to rate it.
