This error is due to a flawed link in the app version 3.0 and is easily corrected by updating the app to version 3.1. I have created a easy to follow video on how to update View to version 3.1 below.

Updating your app to version 3.1 will correct the error “cannot connect to server”

INSTALL VIEWX 3.1 APP *updated 3.7

⭐️The following update will install over any previous 3.0# or other versions.

IMPORTANT TIPS

✔️ This update will install over current version.  No need to do anything other than instruction below.

✔️ Install process may stop and require permissions that you will need to allow to proceed.  This is different for everyone. Most it should simply pause process and be automatically restarted when you allow permissions.  Some may have to allow permissions then go back and reopen Downloader app and revisit instructions above.

✔️ Instructions must be followed exact. Any deviation can cause failed install.

STEP #1 | Prepare Firestick

1. Go to Firestick settings.

2. Go to applications> manage installed applications.

3. Find current View app and select.

4. FORCE STOP>CLEAR CACHE ONLY *DO NOT UNINSTALL OR CLEAR DATA

5. Return to Firestick home screen.

STEP #2 | Install App using “Downloader” app

1. Open Firestick search.

2. Search and download the “Downloader” application using logo attached.

3. Open Downloader application

4. Click on “browser” if not already there.

5. Enter numerical code exact without any additional spaces or characters.

CODE = [5089552]

*Updated 3.7.25

7. Install. Follow prompts, allow any access or permissions requested. everything must be followed exact! read carefully!

📝 NOTE | Process may stop and ask for permission during install. Ensure all apps that populate that require permissions are granted. return to previous page and click install again. Process will continue.

*NOTE It may appear as a web page or something like this populates. It’s ok. Allow process to take its course.

7. Continue or restart Downloader if needed then enter code again to finish install process.

8. Reboot Firestick

STEP #5 | Start App

1. Open app. Once you have read terms and conditions and agree to all terms of use check boxes to continue.

2. Select TV

3. When app opens, go to settings

4. Select EPG

5. Update or download EPG. May say downloaded with zero channels. Is ok.

6. Return to app home screen and download each panel.

When complete you should have version # 3.1 (3.0# was previous)

You are now ready to View!
