Post install cleanup
After installing SST please do the following steps to ensure you get optimized performance.
REMOVE VIEWTV
Fully uninstall our previous app ViewTV go to firestick home page, then settings, application, manage installed apps and scroll down to ViewTV. Fist force stop the app to make sure we get a clean uninstall, then click uninstall. Its also a great tie to go through and remove other unwanted and unneeded apps to give your fire stick more breathing room. Get rid of all streaming apps that you do not use as well so that they do not run in the background using resources up.
CLEAR ALL APPS CACHE
It’s a good habit to run this often to keep the cache clean and roomy for aps to use. You will find this at the top of manage installed apps. Just click all app cache to clean them all up at once.
STOP ALL RUNNING APPS
Just like a cell phone the fire stick does not fully clod an app when you stop using it. The easiest way to do this is by using the app called background processes You can get this free and handy app from the amazon app store.
